Saturday was windy; force six to seven, but that didn't stop the Illusion fleet going afloat. The nine intrepid sailors managed two races. It may, however, be argued that the four race officers had a harder time of it. Bruce Huber, Rudy Jurg and Mark Downer finished one, two, three in both flights.

Sunday was entirely more pleasant; force three with some sun. Mike Samuelson and his ROs gave the fleet four races. Raymond Simonds was first out of the traps but Mark and Bruce soon took charge. Rudy sailed well enough to stay on the podium.

The next meeting is our National Championship (15-16th November, starts at 10.45am).
