The 2008-2009 Australian 18ft Skiff season is starting on Sydney Harbour this month and Appliances Online is proud to be the major sponsor of a boat for the 4th season in a row. This year we have built a brand new boat for the crew and we are hoping for some great results from our experienced crew. We have also decided that we wanted our boat to be something a little different that will stand out from the rest of the fleet and hopefully become the peoples favorite on board the spectator ferry. So we have employed 2 artists to turn our extremely high tech light weight carbon fibre boat into a wooden pirate ship. I think the pictures below describe the concept a little better, remember this boat is built out of carbon fibre which is the same material used to build most parts in a formula 1 race car.
